In Oaxaca, turkey was on the table long before Thanksgiving was. So every November, we cook ours the way we know best: en barbacoa.
Our Thanksgiving Turkey Leg Package is back at Guelaguetza. Great for a small family, it comes fully cooked, and all you do is pick it up on Thanksgiving Day.

What's in the package
2 Piernas de Pavo en Barbacoa. Two turkey legs, brined and baked in our signature barbacoa sauce made of roasted guajillos and avocado leaves.
Espagueti Verde. Green spaghetti in a poblano and cream sauce. Same recipe our mom has served our family for decades. Need a vegan version? Tell us in the order notes.
Papa Istmeña. Isthmus-style baked potato purée, made with carrots, seasonal vegetables, rich cream and mayo.
Flan de Calabaza. Pumpkin flan, for the pie people and the flan people at the same table.
Pasta de Frijol, Pan, and Chiles en Vinagre. A vegetarian black bean purée made with heirloom black beans from Oaxaca, fresh baked bread and pickled chiles, so everyone can build a torta with the leftovers. If there are any.
Stuffing and cranberry sauce are not included.
How pickup works
- Choose your pickup window above: 10 AM–12 PM, 12 PM–2 PM or 2 PM–4 PM. Each window is limited.
- Order by Sunday, November 22, 2026.
- Pick up at Guelaguetza on Thursday, November 26 (Thanksgiving Day) during your window. Bring your order number.
- Take it home and set the table.

Thanksgiving order policy
Cancellations: You may cancel for a full refund through Sunday, November 22, 2026. After that date, orders cannot be cancelled or refunded, because your food is already being prepared.
Missed pickups: Orders not picked up by 4 PM on Thanksgiving Day cannot be refunded or held for another day.
Changes: To change your pickup window or the name of the person picking up, call us at (213) 427-0608 by November 22.
Problems with your order: If something is missing or wrong, tell us at pickup or call us the same day so we can fix it.

Why we do this every year
